East Don Trail Community Event CANCELLED

Due to a Special Weather Statement that is forecasting up to 40mm of rain starting Saturday evening and continuing into Sunday night in the GTA, Toronto and Region Conservation (TRCA) and City of Toronto staff have decided to cancel the East Don Trail Community Event scheduled to take place on Sunday, November 5, 2017 from 10am to noon due to safety concerns.

With the anticipated rainfall, TRCA has also released a Flood Outlook Statement urging the public to avoid and/or exercise extreme caution around water ways as fast flows and storm runoff can cause erosion and flooding in low-lying areas.

TRCA and City of Toronto staff apologizes for any inconvenience this may have caused. Thank you for your understanding.
