Planning and Project Overview

Greenwood Station will be getting a new second exit/entrance to improve customer safety and convenience. As part of its commitment to modernization, TTC developed a new process designed by a third party Expert Panel of planners and architects to involve local communities in determining second exit locations. The process includes establishing a local working group to submit and assess potential locations using an evaluation framework that was developed by a panel of third party experts. The framework is based on the following five criteria:

  • Safety
  • Local community impact – Second Exit (permanent)
  • Local community impact – Construction Period
  • Customer experience
  • Cost
