PRESTO Update May 2018

The TTC is working closely with PRESTO to complete the rollout schedule confirming the delivery of the remaining PRESTO products required to enable full PRESTO adoption.

The TTC continues to work closely with Metrolinx to finalize the PRESTO schedule for functionality and adoption. By August 26, 2018 the two-hour transfer will be available to customers.

Once the rollout schedule is finalized, the TTC and PRESTO will finalize the joint plan to increase card adoption, promote the fare options available on PRESTO, and lay out the activities and timeline to transition and retire TTC legacy fare media products. People have raised concerns about this process with the TTC Board especially as it relates to LUMs which will replace tokens.
